Gas Gun Challenge. This is a Long Range Match for AR style Modern Sporting Arms. One day match on the Public Range. There will be 5-6 stages shooting from various barricades and positions at targets from 95 to 675 yards. Approximately 70-90 rounds for the match. Bring extra if you need to zero or in case of a re-shoot.
The match will be scored as a Long Range Rifle Match where each impact equals one point. This will NOT be Time Plus scoring format.
Divisions:
Tac Light – 223/556 only, Barrel 18.1” or less, Optic up to 6x max.
Tac Heavy – 223/556 or 308/762 only, Barrel 20.1” max, Optic up to 18x max.
Open – Any Caliber, Barrel 20.3” or longer, Optic 20x or more.
Safety Requirements:
All long guns must have magazines out and a safety/chamber flag installed when not on the line.
All long guns must be bagged or cased when transported between your car and the staging area.
8:00 am – Check in and Zero if needed.
8:30 am – Safety Brief and Match Orientation.
9:00 am – Match Starts.
Match fee: $50. Please bring cash as there is limited cellular service in the canyon and digital payments are not an option.
If you are NOT a member of California-Tactical, PLEASE FILL OUT THE DIGITAL WAIVER AT THE PRO SHOP, then head up to the right side of the Public Range Rifle Bays to pay your fee to the match director.
If for some reason you are not able to attend, please withdraw from the match and let me know as soon as possible.
