8 – 9 stages with yardages ranging from 200 to 1100 yards.
Stages will be between 8-12 rounds, shooting from various barricades and positions. Be prepared with at least 100 rounds for the match and more for zero check or re-shoots.
The shooting is from “flat range” conditions (but ground is uneven) up valleys and hills to the targets. Although in beautiful Southern California, the weather can vary widely, so be prepared for cold or WARM conditions, wet or dry.
NO steel core, A-tip, or copper solid ammunition will be allowed. Ammo will be checked prior to match start. If you are found shooting disallowed ammo you will be immediately DQ’d from the match.
308 max caliber — sorry, no 300 WM, 300 Norma, 7 Rem Mag, etc.
3100 fps max velocity.
Equipment
You will need a rifle with an optic that will allow you to locate and engage targets at long range (12+ power recommended), and any other shooting gear you like to use. Rangefinders, spotting scopes, binoculars, shooting rests are all common equipment, but also often shared among shooters.

Safety Requirements:
All long guns must have a safety/chamber flag installed when not on the line.
All long guns must be bagged or cased when transported to the line and between stages on the PUBLIC RANGE stages (if we have them).
Stages at Bay 30, and 1-2 stages might be at the Public Range for 900 to 1060 yards.
