WHAT IS A PRACTICE MATCH? Shooters are allowed to be coached before, during, and after their turn on the stage. If a shooter chooses, they may opt out of doing all the stages, and only practice their preferred stages by shooting it multiple times — but their score will not count for placement.

We will be videoing 1-2 stages for all shooters (unless you opt out) and will provide you that video.
6-7 stages with yardages ranging from 200 to 1100 yards.
Most stages will be 8 – 12 rounds, shooting from various barricades and positions.
Be prepared with at least 100 rounds for the match and more for zero check or re-shoots.
The shooting is from “flat range” conditions (but ground is uneven) up valleys and hills to the targets. Although in beautiful Southern California, the weather can vary widely, so be prepared for cold or warm conditions, wet or dry.
No steel core ammunition will be allowed.
Equipment
You will need a rifle with an optic that will allow you to locate and engage targets, and any other shooting gear you like to use. Rangefinders, spotting scopes, binoculars, shooting rests are all useful – but shooters often share or borrow equipment from others.
Safety Requirements:
All long guns must have a safety/chamber flag installed when not on the line.
All long guns must be bagged or cased when transported between your car to the stage(s) at the Public Range.
Stages are mainly at Bay 30 and 31 and can be at the Public Range for 900 to 1060 yards.
